Brosseau Vineyard, Chalone AVA
Both the Syrah and Viognier were hand harvested from the Brosseau Vineyard in the Chalone AVA on 9/13. The Syrah was sorted and placed into small fermenters whole cluster, and the Viognier was sorted and destemmed on top of the Syrah. The grape varieties were allowed to natively co-ferment for nearly 3 weeks before being gently basket pressed and racked to French oak to age for 16 months.
