This Pinot Noir is a crescendo- it begins softly with aromas of blueberry, vanilla, and black cherry before exploding across your palate with gorgeous, earthy flavors of cedar, graphite, and currant. The zippy acidity creates a complex finish that doesn’t linger too long. Enjoy decanted on its own, or paired with your favorite pork and chicken dishes.
We’re honestly thrilled to introduce this new vintage from the Santa Lucia Highlands. Once allowed to open, the bouquet is richly aromatic with gorgeous notes of violets, roses, chocolate cherries, blueberry, strawberry, and vanilla. There’s the classic SLH minerality, akin to slate and pencil lead. There’s a hint of cola, and a bite of white pepper. This wine is decadent like red velvet cake, but well balanced with brisk acidity. Enjoy now, or let it rest in your cellar.
This wine is made from the same clone of Pinot Noir (777, aka “Triple Seven”) from two ranches in the Santa Lucia Highlands. Blended together, this wine exhibits the true qualities of a Triple Seven Pinot Noir. Notes of currant, dark plum, blackberry, and warm vanilla open the bouquet, followed by warm leather and the rich minerality typical of the SLH growing region. On the palate, rich, juicy flavors of blackberry and licorice create a round mouthfeel, full bodied and balanced.
This wine captures the terroir of a single vineyard, utilizing two Pinot Noir clones grown adjacent to each other. The result is this luscious wine which opens with floral notes, followed by rich notes of crisp blackberry, leather, vanilla, and classic SLH minerality. On the palate, dark fruit flavors create a juicy mouthfeel, balanced by hints of cedar and a rich, tannic finish. This elegant wine is ready to drink now, or will age beautifully in your cellar.
This Pinot opens with juicy notes of blackberry, cassis, rose petals, and something like a strawberry-rhubarb pie. While the bouquet is delicate and nuanced, the palate is bold and complex with strong notes of black pepper, licorice, and spice. Elegant, complex, and spicy, this wine should be decanted before enjoying.
This Pinot is spicy with notes of ripe cassis, juicy raspberry, rich minerality, and a subtle hint of cedar. On the palate, this wine is full and rich with fruity ripeness, lively acid, and deliciously soft tannins. This is a Pinot for Cab drinkers; decadent and complex, with a delicious lingering finish.
Our 2015 Grenache is a jewel; bright ruby red, it seems to glow in your glass. On the nose, rich notes of wild strawberry and raspberries sing with softer notes of rhubarb, vanilla, and cherry cola. These aromas carry onto the palate where they are joined by delicate flavors of juicy red fruit and well worn leather, balanced with the soft minerality of pencil lead and a bite of white pepper. This truly delicious wine is a marvel on its own, or paired with your favorite soft to medium bodied cheese.
A gorgeous ruby color in the glass, the bouquet opens with notes of dark currant, bay leaf, blackberry, clove, and anise, which evokes a feeling of holiday evenings by a fireplace. The palate is rich with flavors of white pepper, vanilla, toast, and a hint of cured meat. The richness of the palate elevates the tannins on the finish, creating a lasting, memorable experience.
This new Syrah is exotic and opulent, a complex and well balanced vintage. The fruit forward bouquet begins with boysenberry, lots of vanilla, and sweet tobacco. This richness is balanced beautifully with spicy flavors of white pepper and soy, and a lively acid that dances across the palate. The combination is elegant, and the finish is a mad crescendo into a burst of flavor.
